Basic Taoist Longevity Breathing Practice

Hello Everyone, This video is a basic instruction to the Taoist Longevity Breathing practice. Good breathing is fundamental to all Taoist practices and is the basis for all natural health and longevity which opens the door to spiritual growth and awareness. It is really no different than original baby breathing, yet we've complicated the natural process by living in the realm of distraction, with little or no awareness of our breathing or what happens inside of us physically and in the more subtle realms. Longevity breathing accomplishes many things at multiple levels. .it basically accomplishes: facilitating the abundance of oxygen and the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in your body. Ensuring that carbon dioxide is fully expelled. Retraining your nervous system to relax. Improving the functioning of your internal organs. Increasing the levels of chi in your body. These are the five accomplishments quoted from "Opening the Energy Gates" by Master Bruce Frantzis. This is a reading which I highly recommend. Future videos will expand different aspects of this practice and how it integrates into daily life and its use for those seeking a journey of spiritual growth.
